Mr Peter Kenyon

Originally from Lytham, Peter returned to the area and joined the practice in 2016.
After leaving Arnold School in Blackpool, Peter moved to Bristol to complete his undergraduate training where following five years of study, he graduated achieving Distinctions in Restorative Dentistry, Paediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine before graduating with Distinction overall, and was awarded prizes for Restorative Dentistry and Orthodontics.
Peter then worked for a year in a mixed Private and NHS practice in Ascot before undertaking a year of dedicated training in Restorative Dentistry at the prestigious Royal London Hospital. Over this time he also completed postgraduate examinations to attain Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Peter has a particular interest in helping patients with complex and extensive treatment needs, and to develop these skills has completed a Master of Science degree in Dental Implantology with Distinction at the University of Bristol and has undertaken postgraduate examinations to be awarded the Diploma in Implant Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He has completed the four year Master of Clinical Dentistry degree in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics at King's College London which he was awarded with Distinction.
To complement these skills Peter has completed training with Invisalign orthodontics to help people discretely straighten their teeth, and provides Enlighten tooth whitening within the practice.
This extensive training allows Peter to provide the most contemporary evidence-based dentistry to his patients to optimise their oral health and provide the highest standard of care possible, aiming to achieve aesthetically pleasing long lasting dental restorations.
Peter is involved in the education of other dentists and is a clinical teacher at King’s College London for their Master in Clincal Dentistry degree in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics and lectures both in the UK and internationally on the topics of dental implantology and tooth wear and other elements of prosthodontics.
In his spare time he enjoys travel, exercise, skiing, golf and spending time with his young family.
